The Diabetic Association Medical College Faridpur was opened on November 15th of 2009 and has been welcoming students in the academic period between 2009 and 2010. Faridpur Diabetic Association FDMC Diabetic Association Medical College is run by an administrative Board which is also an entity affiliated to the Faridpur Diabetic Association (FDA). It is worth noting that an official member of the Faridpur Diabetic Association is Bangladesh’s second largest participant in the “International Diabetes Federation” in 2009.
The Medical College is affiliated with the University of Dhaka, is acknowledged as such by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC) and is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
It’s an institution of the Diabetic Association FDMC is a Tertiary Care hospital established in the year 1985, it provides clinical services in almost every field that are related to medical research. It’s affiliated with the hospital which is a teaching hospital.
The Diabetic Association FDMC is situated in the middle of Faridpur city, which is located in Masjid Bari Sarok, Jheeltuly which is situated within 2.21 acres. It covers an surface of around two and one half lakh square feet and is fitted with the most modern technology.
1. To earn the MBA degree to pursue an MBBS degree in Bangladesh. The student must be at least 17 years old in order to be qualified.
2. To be admitted to take up MBBS in Bangladesh applicants must be able to show a valid score in the NEET entrance test.
3. The applicant must possess all necessary documents required to be eligible for MBBS for MBBS in Bangladesh.
4. Anyone who wants to attend medical school of the Diabetic Association must hold an higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent qualification with a degree in Science including Biology.
5. Students must clear the Directorate General of Health Services’ MBBS entrance test.
After completing a 5-year MBBS qualification (that refers to after passing). Students must complete an one-year compulsory training course at the Diabetic Association Medical College Hospital in order to pass their last Professional MBBS test. As per the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM and DC).
The course helps students with getting professional practice registration through BM & DC. Training is crucial for trainees because it helps them develop the skills and mindsets they require to tackle real-world problems in working in the hospital and in the community. The process of training is monitoredand the participants are compensated with the form of a salary.
The admission process the following:
1. Students who qualify to be considered for Diabetic Association Medical College admission have to complete an application form that is available from the principal’s office at Diabetic Association Medical College, Faridpur, Bangladesh.
2. The selection is made based on merit. The students who rank at the highest of the merit rankings are selected.
3. Students must fill out the application form for college, that can be found at their site.
4. The student must then submit the filled-in Application form along with copies of all the required documents for the student status to be granted.
5. The college will mail an offer conditional to the student once they have completed their application. When they receive a conditional acceptance letter, students must pay the initial tuition fee. After that, the school will mail the student an Fee Acknowledgement note.
6. Then, they must be able to complete the required procedures to obtain the student visa.
